DB/Text comprises two pieces of software:DB/TextWorks for textbase design and management; Web Publisher Pro for web access to DB/Text textbases. An alternative for web access to DB/Text textbases is Presto for DB/TextWorks.

Inmagic DB/Text is available on a choice of two platforms:

  • Traditional DB/Text Works with Inmagic's proprietary textbase system as its data store, or
  • DB/Text Works for SQL, which uses Microsoft® SQL™ technology as the backend.
