Maxus can help you install the software, provide initial consultation services, then design and set up an application to your specifications. We can also provide assistance with future modifications to an installation — for example, changes to an existing textbase structure or additional report forms.

Data Conversion

If you already have information stored on another computer system, or perhaps even in word processing files, it is almost always possible to convert it to the Inmagic format. We can advise on the feasibility of conversion and the best way to proceed. Both off-the-shelf and custom programs are available for data conversion. We can supply you with a suitable program to enable you to convert your own data, or we can convert your data for you.

Maxus Australia's Software Support Service is designed to assist users with any of the software products we have supplied. Our expert support staff respond as quickly as possible to your queries using whatever means best suits your needs: telephone, fax, email, even files on diskette if required. The Service provides you with immediate “hot line” telephone assistance, during normal office hours (Melbourne/Sydney time), with any problems you may encounter.

  • An annual subscription gives you complete cover for any 12 month period
  • If you choose not to subscribe, help is still available on a charge-per-call basis

Software Maintenance

When you purchase new Inmagic software you always receive the most current release. You are also automatically enrolled in the Inmagic Maintenance Programme, which ensures that you will continue to receive updates to your software as they are issued by Inmagic, Inc. during the following 12 months.

At the end of the first 12 months, you can renew your Maintenance. Existing Inmagic software users with older versions can also take out a Maintenance Agreement.

Your Maintenance Agreement does not just guarantee that your Inmagic software remains up to date, it also provides you with access to the Maxus Software Support Service. When you take out maintenance, you receive a specific number of support incidents based on the details of the product that you own.

Training

Maxus Australia has been providing training to Inmagic software users for many years. We are renowned for our depth of knowledge and our professional, friendly approach. We can offer introductory or more advanced training in TextWorks and WebPublisher PRO. We also provide training in Genie workflows as well as in the more complex aspects of Genie customisation.

Our customers have a variety of needs so we offer a number of training options. We hold regular training courses at central locations and we also offer customised training. Customised training is now the option that most people choose – customised training can be held at your premises or at our own offices, it can cover whichever specific topics interest you and at the level of detail that is best suited to your needs and abilities.

Technical Workshops

Maxus Australia has been holding a series of technical workshops in various cities since early 2004. The workshop series has continued in 2007 and we look forward to presenting more workshops in 2008! Our workshops cover a variety of useful technical topics, such as "Creating and designing a Textbase", "Calculations in Forms" and "Using scripts in Textworks".
