We offer Inmagic options for Windows stand-alones or networks and for the web or your intranet:

1. Inmagic Genie

Inmagic Genie is a comprehensive, Web-based library management solution designed to meet the expanding needs of special libraries and information centres where the focus is on providing effective access to both traditional and non-traditional library materials. Inmagic Genie uses Content Server as its engine and provides you with a combination of excellent web interfaces and powerful data storage and retrieval capabilities.

Maxus Australia is a Validated Inmagic Partner and the sole authorised Australian supplier of Inmagic Genie.

2. Maxus Library

Maxus Library, our own product, is our Windows solution. It uses the scripting capability of TextWorks to dynamically record loans and all circulation activities, including reservations, renewals and overdue notices. It also includes a serials module designed to reflect the particular needs of special libraries. It is supplied with ready to use structures for a standard catalogue with loans, borrowers and serials management. Any existing catalogue can be migrated to Maxus Library.

Adding an Inmagic web interface (WebPublisher PRO) to Maxus Library provides you with a powerful solution for accessing and publishing your library databases via the internet or your intranet.

3. Maxus Catalogue

Maxus Catalogue, another great Maxus product, is our startup-level solution. Designed for small Australian libraries, it provides a ready to use system for cataloguing and lending your materials. Any existing catalogue can be migrated to Maxus Catalogue.

Maximising Your Impact

If you have recently installed new Inmagic library software such as Genie, you will be pleased to know that Inmagic has compiled a small kit of materials and suggestions to help you launch the new software more effectively within your organisation. Maxus has taken those materials and altered them slightly so that the wording, spelling and content are geared to Australian preferences. The kit includes a page of tips on ways to create a positive impact around the launch of your new application, plus a sample flyer that you can modify to suit your own needs.
